First Use of Plantar Marks in England

Good Morning,

I am a Trainee Fingerprint Expert currently revising Fingerprinting History for my upcoming Beginners course.
I am aware that Sydney Malkin was the first person in England charged on Plantar evidence (1st May 1956) and that his footmark was found at the point of entry. I also know he was sentenced to be 'bound over' for 3 years.

However, I can't find anywhere what crime he committed!??!? Anyone any clues?
