Does LCV work on Gloss Paint?

Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience in using LCV on a gloss-painted surface?

Admittedly, this is for enhancing footwear marks, but there seems to be a wealth of experience in a wide variety of enhancements here so I just thought I would ask.
