Print 001
Images: The latent (left image) is a reversed ninhydrin
print and the right image (known print) is an AFIS candidate retrieval.
Galton: There are at least seven points of
identification that could be considered to be in common. There are also
many obvious actual differences. Q & Q: It is
difficult to see Level 3 detail with pores non-existent in the AFIS
image. The position of the Galton points and the absence of some
insipient ridges in the AFIS candidate should also serve as a red flag. |

Galton: There are at least six points of identification that could be considered to be in common. There are also
many obvious actual differences. Q & Q:
It is difficult to see Level 3 detail with pores non-existent in the
AFIS image. The original images show that this is a good example
of an elimination on level 1: the joint to delta ridge count is out of
tolerance for clarity. |
